New Orleans Disembarkation

Hi..Carnival Dream is disembarking in New Orleans at scheduled time of 8am. How far is the airport? Cruise company says not to schedule your flight departure before noon. But would love to book a flight departing at New Orleans at 11:25am. Need advise.

The airport is maybe 20--40 minutes (depending on traffic) from the FQ. If you could be one of the first people off the ship, and it wouldn't hurt to arrange a private taxi to be waiting for you, it should work.

As long as the ship actually docks as scheduled, this should not be a probelm

You will have no trouble making an 11:25am flight, but why leave NOLA so soon? You're all the way in NOLA, with even one day and night you could go for a carriage ride around the French quarter, tour a couple of plantation homes, have a fantastic dinner at one of the incredible restaurants and enjoy an evening of great music and crazy people on Bourbon street.
