H&A Norway Fford cruise

Hi all, first time on here.

 

We're on the Ryndam next week and wondered about currency for when we go off the ship. Are cards generally accepted in Norway or should we get some Krone. Can you get exchange money on board or better to take with us?

 

Also weather..... reading other posts it could be mixed so taking layers would be the best option?

 

Not been with H&A before so any other tips welcome

Yes, dress in layers, that´s your best bet.

We found that Norwegian krone is the best currency to be had, the hoHo bus in Oslo took Dollars, British Ponds as well as Euros, but most shops want the local currency

We are heading for Norway aboard Eurodam later this month and we´ll just get money at an atm...

HAL ships do not have ATM's.

HAL will exchange money at the front desk -- but they take a big cut and you get ripped off.
