Destiny cabin 8148? elevator noise?

Has any one stayed in this cabin? We are a little concerned being so close to the elevators.... Anyone know if noise is a problem?

I keep reading about people who can see what cabins are available from the carnival website but when I try it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

You are far enough from the elevators where noise will be an issue. Elevators are located in a seperate bank.

 

You will come out your cabin door-- make a right and go down the hall and make a right to the elevators.. you wont be getting the elevators in the hallway out side your door. THe elevators do ding but is a quiet ding and shoul donly be heard in the elevator bank.

 

see whats available--- go to www.carnival.com click on funships. click on Destiny. scroll to the bottom of the page.. click on Southern Caribbean that leasves from San Juan. (its the last one on the page.)

 

See the red book it now...click on the one beside your date.

Next screen fill out the information that you are needing. (2, 3 or 4 passengers)

 

 

next screen will show you all categories tht are available. clicking on select will take you to the next screen to show you what cabins are available within that category.

every cruise I book I get a cabin as close to an elevator as I can and have never had any noise problems.

Thank you for your help with cabin selection. The first date available is Nov 6 and we cruise Oct 2. I am assuming that is why it won't work. Glad to hear noise shouldn't be a problem.

yEp sold out it is. Just checked a bunch of sites an no availabity.
