Teends Posted June 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Does anyone know for sure if Escape has bowling alleys like Epic or no? From what I have seen SO FAR, it doesn't look like they do. Does Breakaway or Getaway have them?

Niquein99 Posted June 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Where were they on Getaway? Bowling is located in O'Sheehan's on Getaway. 2 lanes with those mini-bowling balls. We never got a chance to try it, but it looked cool.
Teends Posted June 11, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) We played at O'Sheehan's on Epic but the bowling balls were regular sized. Must be different on Getaway. Edited June 11, 2015 by Teends

cliffd64 Posted June 11, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 11, 2015 The Breakaway class ships have smaller bowling alleys with smaller bowling balls located in the back of O'Sheehans... Escape will probably be like the Breakaway class ships in this regard. Epic and some of the Jewel class ships have larger more realistic bowling alleys that require bowling shoes etc and use full size bowling balls. wichitastatecruiser Posted June 11, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Technically the breakaway class ships have "mini-bowling" not actual bowling.
ilovetotravel1977 Posted June 11, 2015 #9 Share Posted June 11, 2015 What is "mini bowling"? Are you talking about 10-pin candlestick-style pins, balls with no finger holes? Up here in Nova Scotia, we call that "bowling" lol We used to have a couple of lanes at one of the local alleys that had the finger-holes-in-ball bowling, it was definitely harder than it looked! Our alleys even have bumper pads you can add to the gutters for kiddie bowling, so the ball never goes in the gutter :)

Here in the US they also can add bumpers to lanes, most places have them built in so you can program them to come out when certain bowlers are up!
