Another Cave tubing Question??

I wore cheap (Wal-Mart $5 special) water shoes...and I did just fine.

Unfortunately, I left them in the van when we returned to the dock area. I'm wondering who might have found a home for a pair of blue size 14 boats...

Don't worry too much about the shoes for this excursion. I wouldn't go out and buy something or bother to pack extra footwear for your cruise. You have enough things to bring. Your feet will get wet right at the beginning of the hike as you walk accross the river which is up to your knees or so depending on the previous rain condition. It is a little rocky here so go slow and watch your footing - the guides all help. You will encounter sand, dust, and mud during the hike.

If you are bringing old sneakers, water shoes or sandals with you on the cruise then use whatever you bring. Otherwise rent watershoes when you get to the park. An earlier post said $2 but I think it was $3 in Aug - no big deal.

Happy tubin'
