Morgans Posted June 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2015 We are planning to go on holiday with the family and are wondering if the small sofa beds in the 4 berth balcony cabins would be big enough for two toddlers to share as we don't want to put one of them in the pull down bed as we feel they are too young (although we realise we would have to officially book it.) The other option is to book the more expenisve deluxe balcony with larger sofa bed, which is coming out at quite an expensive option. Any advice gratefully received. jasperado Posted June 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Hi What code of cabin are you thinking of booking? Would it not be possible for one (or both ) of the adults to use the upper bunks (not ideal, I know, but sometimes needs must ) and then the toddlers to use one of the beds top to tail or even a lower bed each? Are the upper berths weight restricted? How many adults and children will be in the cabin? A bit more specific information might help us to find you the best option without having to spend so much more money. Regards :)

I agree that at the last resort, the adults could use the top berths. There are some cabins I understand that have 2 lower beds with small sofa and 1 upper berth (G) and (I) and these are cheaper than the superior deluxe (D) grade. We wondered if the smaller sofa would be big enough for the tots.
the english lady Posted June 13, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2015 I think what you need to do is ring/email p and o direct to confirm the size of the sofad, and whether they would accommodate 2 toddlers. I think they probably would, but best to get it from the horses mouth so to speak. You do not want to book one ,get onboard ,then find they are not suitable. Personally I would go for that, rather than the bunk bed optio n.
