Length of sofa beds

Wondering if the sofa bed mattresses are the same length as the bed mattresses.

Take a look at Post no. 5 in this thread..He describes the length of the sofa bed by saying he can't sleep in it but a smaller person could..This whole thread is about the sofa beds..

I once had a sofa bed in our apartment but DH could not fit on it as he is over 6Ft., but it was OK for me just over 5 ft.
