Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted June 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2015 So, why does Carnival list certain excursions as featured? Do they have the greatest profit margin for Carnival? Are they the excursions most likely to lead to high guest satisfaction with Carnival? Are they the ones they fear will be undersold otherwise? Is it the IT department's version of spin the bottle? Hoosierpop Posted June 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2015 Hopefully, they have the highest profit margins and they are sold out every cruise.

So for those that like to price compare, if you see a certain excursion offered through Carnival, you may not be able to book it independently in an attempt to save a few dollars.
