Getaway - shade?

Hi

On Getaway sailing out later today...

Are there areas of the sun deck on the ship that come with umbrellas for shade or is the only option that fits the bill the Vibe beach club?

If it is like the BA pool deck, all the chairs are in the shade. The adult area was called spice h2o and there were a few umbrellas around chairs not loungers and only 2 hot tubs no pool. Other than that all the sun decks had no shade that I remember. Hope that helps.

The pool deck has lots of chairs in the shade.

Just off getaway, the water feature in spice h20 was packed when I tried it, the whole area was like an oven. You may have to hunt a bit for an actual shaded lounger elsewhere, or get a spa pass.

The courtyard area for suite guests is covered. I'm not sure if you are booked in one or not. But just wanted to let you know. We took advantage of that area in April when we sailed.

Keep trying this area- there are several umbrellas available. You can sometimes get some shade right at the entrance to this area by moving a chair or two.
