After having read the threads for this port, I think we are about ready to book. One housekeeping question...can you purchase taxis, drinks, etc. using US dollars or do we need to convert money prior to leaving the pier?

We totally accept US$ but expect any change in local ec dollars. Rate is fixed at US$1=ec$2.67 (although generally most folk work to 2.8)
