xbatt8 Posted July 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 1, 2015 Heya Tommy. Last summer we stayed at a Best Western out near the airport and got free parking for the entire cruise. The shuttle was easy peasy and cost us $25 each for a round trip ride. It dropped us off about 200' from the entrance to the check-in building and picked us up in the same spot. It was a nice place, and they had a free shuttle to the airport where you could catch the light rail into Seattle proper. We drove into Seattle the first day and after finding minimal parking (sometimes parking 6-8 large hilly blocks from our destination) and paying $6 per hour for that lot, we decided to change our thinking. As we were going to do a LOT of walking anyway, we took the light rail for under $5 and just walked around. Seattle is not a car friendly tourist area. As our kids are moving up there in August, our Sept cruise will see us parking at their house and getting dropped off. Mo better... :D Bob
