The deck plans show cabins 8105 and 8107 to be connecting.

Does anyone recall where the connecting door is located?

Search YouTube for a video about solstice class connecting doors. It has branding on it, so I don't think I should link it, but it is really best to see a video rather than try to visualize how it works.

There is no connection door inside the cabins. This just means that the two cabins "can be" connecting cabins if desired. If not desired to be connecting cabins, they are just like any other balcony cabins on the ship except the stateroom door opens into the cabin whereas the non-connecting cabins the stateroom doors open out into the little alcove.

 

The connecting cabins are mostly for families where mom & dad can be in one stateroom, and the kids in the other. There are two wooden doors that close off the alcove, making the doors flush with the hallway. You just enter one door to gain entry into the two staterooms. Those two stateroom doors can remain open all the time or they can be closed at night. you can go back & forth to each cabin thru the alcove.

 

All of the S-Class ships have this connection configuration except Reflection which has the traditional connection in the bulkhead right across from the bathroom door.
