aam3 Posted July 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2015 We are sailing on the Dawn from Boston on Friday, and when we registered earlier today we were assigned a time to check in at the pier. We usually arrive early and have lunch on the ship, but the time we were assigned was 1:30. If we arrive around 11:00, will they hold us or allow us to check in? We did this same cruise last year and didn't have an assigned time!
WatchHill Posted July 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2015 NCL, like other cruise lines, is attempting to spread boarding times out to avoid crowds. The time is a "suggestion" and not etched in stone. If you arrive around 11: and drop off your checked luggage, you can enter the terminal and begin the boarding process - as long as the ship is ready for passengers - check in, do the security check, then onto the ship and enjoy lunch.
