Transfer from Royal to Celebrity?

Has anyone transferred a cruise booking for Royal Caribbean to Celebrity?

We have only paid the deposit and it is not until september 2016 - will we lose the deposit?

If you are in the U.S. you can cancel and your deposit will be refunded.

We changed from Royal to Celebrity without loosing our deposit. Rooms at similar cost. We just phoned up. We are UK and Elite. Do not know if being Elite makes a difference.

We could not transfer an on board booking credit from one line to the other after returning home.

We transferred on advanced booking from RCCL to celebrity with no problem.

So glad you managed your swap.

 

I have got to say when we did ours so easily it made me far more confident to book cruises 2years plus or either line! So many things can change including politicial situations, personal circumstances....it is nice to know that you can swap, no issues, if you want or need to.
