Are there hammocks on the serenity deck? Is there a pool above or under the waterfall or are they hot tubs?

Hammocks, yes. I think there are only 2. No pool but there are 2 hot tubs.

There is no waterfall, you must be thinking of the Sunshine. No pool, only hot tubs. Yes there are hammocks.

 

To be honest, we enjoyed the hot tubs on deck 5 better, a lot more quiet, lots of places to sit and a lot less people.

The Sunshine is the only Serenity deck that has a pool. Hopefully Carnival will keep that going with Vista.

The Serenity deck on the Pride has a pool (albeit a small one) so at least one other besides the Sunshine is so equipped.

Totally agree - I loved the serenity deck on the Sunshine. Lots complain about the noise from the bandstand, but I liked the option to be by the pool and waterfall and hear what was going on, or using the upper level serenity decks. We hung out up there as a very large group (most of the people still awake at 2am) after the club closed too ... it really is a ship that caters to a more grown up atmosphere.

 

We're going on the Breeze next, and I'm looking forward to the Lanai hot tubs.
