Rental Car in Saint Raphael?

We have a day in Saint Raphael and are interested in renting a car. Is that possible right at or near the cruise port? We are sailing on HAL. We would like to visit the chapel with the Matisse windows and then visit friends who live on the coast, and we are thinking that our own car will give us the most flexibility (family of 4).

I cannot quite figure out if the chapel (in Vence, I believe), is closer to Saint Raphael or Monte Carlo -- our stop the previous day. Has anyone gone? Does anyone know the distances?

Thanks in advance!

Much closer to Monte Carlo than St Raphael. Vence is above St Paul de Vence (10 minutes) and you can easily visit both the same day. Do check opening times for the Chapel. It is closed on Sundays except for 10 am Mass which will be very crowded. Parking is on the street and you need to get there by 9:30 to get a seat.

Hours, in French:

La Chapelle est ouverte :

- Lundi – mercredi - samedi 14h – 17h30.

- Mardi - jeudi 10h - 11h30 & 14h – 17h30.

Messe le dimanche à 10h.

Fermeture annuelle de mi-novembre à mi-décembre.

Fermeture les jours fériés.

For car rental, the company's website will show you the agency's location on a map. Try europcar and Hertz. Where do your friends live? You should plot all this places on Google maps.
