FLIP FLOP GAL Posted July 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Hi - I need someone to spell it out to me in elementary terms..how do these recent changes to the specialty restaurants affect my UDP for my cruise on the Getaway in Nov? Which specialty restaurants can I dine in with ZERO additional cost? If I choose to eat in one of the ala carte restaurants - is there a discount for those with the UDP? Background - We selected the UDP as our bonus perk when booking. Am I still correct in thinking that we can dine in a specialty restaurant every night of our cruise

Norwegian also will continue to sell Specialty Dining Packages that include meals at Cagney's, Le Bistro and La Cucina at a set price without extra a la carte charges.http://www.usatoday.com/story/cruise...cing/30133043/
Demonyte Posted July 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2015 (edited) Norwegian also will continue to sell Specialty Dining Packages that include meals at Cagney's, Le Bistro and La Cucina at a set price without extra a la carte charges. That is interesting as the signature trio hasn't been available directly to customers for a long time now. (Still available to TAs as gifts available to purchase.) Leavethekidswithmom Posted July 17, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Could you elaborate, I don't quite understand what you are say. That was the three restaurants of their choice (French, Italian and Cagneys), they had it in 2013 not on our 2014 cruise.

These are the three that are going a la carte and the poster asked if their UDP would change at these restaurants. I've always been able to book these three, plus Moderno and Teppanyaki with my UDP. jeffregpuck Posted July 19, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 19, 2015 What about the 3, 4, 5, or 6 day packages? Does the same rule apply for the ala cartes? In other words....if someone has less than the full 7 day package, do all the same UDP rules apply?

Do we have the freedom to order, say, 2 appetizers? OR, is it a strict one per person type of policy?

As stated, nothing changes for you. As in the past, you can order multiples of soups, salads, apps and desert without charge. $10 extra if you want a second entree.
