Recommended Posts

DINING OPTIONS:Main Dining Room

DECK 3 - MTD, DECK 4 6:30 AND 9, DECK 5 6p and 8:30p

Food was comparable as any prior RCCL cruises . Good, but not great

CENTRAL PARK CAFE (Deck 8). My favorite place for coffee and breakfast ( only 1 deck down and NEVER crowded). Boxed cereal, pastries, bagels, toast, and a few egg sandwiches for breakfast. Lunch had fresh tossed salads, and the best RB sandwich on the ship.

BOARDWALK DOG HOUSE (Deck 6). My 19 yo son fell in love with this place and ate there practicall every day. Good selection of dogs, brats and fixings!

SORRENTOs PIZZA (DECK 5) - Decent Pizza, always hot and fresh; Good for a quick snack. eat there or take it to go.

JOHNNY ROCKETS -$6 cover and then as much as want to eat. Shakes are extra though!

SOLARIUM CAFE (Deck 15) My 2nd favorite place to eat. Never crowded. Samll but healthier options than the WJ. Conveniently located within the Solarium.

Windjammer Cafe - Deck 16

Crowded for breakfast after 9am - Massive selection of about anything you want. No made to order omelete stations any more (MDR or JRs only)

Same for lunch; but gets packed after 1pm

DID NOT PARTAKE IN THE SPECIALTY PLACES!

POOLS and Chairs: Spent most of the deck time in the Solarium, where it is quieter and the lounge chairs are comfortable. Whirpools are warm, not hot and never that crowded.

Main pool area seem to have an abundance of chairs; Smoking is allowed PORT SIDE ONLY! Did not witness chair hogging. No need to show seapass card for towels either. Ice cream machines located mid ship pool side. Separate area specifically for kids and families. Private sunning area for Suite guests

DAILY ACTIVITIES -

TRIVIA; every morning @10am; 5pm and then music trivia 8pm[schooner Bar Deck 6] Won my usual stash of RCCL Knick Knacks; gave most of them away.

Fun time developing a healthy rivalry with a group from Michigan

CASINO - Open every day after leaving port. Never crowded, Had Craps, Blackjack baccarat, let it ride, etc. Also had daily Lotto. 5 numbers $2 a ticket; match3 = $100, Match4 = $4000, Match 5 = $800k

KARAOKE - ON AIR Deck 5. 1st night is open mike, Then they have a 3 day "Idol" competition; Then it was open mike nights again

to be continued
