Breakfast and lunch

We are sailing on the Magica in late November and I was wondering what the times are for breakfast and lunch for both the buffet and dining room? If we eat in the dining room what is on the menu for breakfast and lunch? Are we required to eat at the same table as dinner? Do most people give extra gratuities at the end of the cruise and if they do how much and to which staff? Thanks, Big J.

Buffet meals go on pretty much all day, one way or another. You can always get something to eat somewhere. I've never eaten breakfast or lunch in the dining room but I'm pretty sure you can sit where you like. It's entirely up to you about the tips - I must say I've never noticed people giving extra - the compulsory ones are quite enough in my opinion, particularly for a family. I've chatted to some of the staff and although they work very hard and have very little time off (something like they work for eight months solid then have four months off) they do get quite well paid.
