Which deck for cabin

I have done a trip on MS Polarlys and really enjoyed it, the decoration is very elegant and the public spaces are light and airy.

For the best comfort in rough sea, the best cabins are those located low and mid-ship, so the N2 cabins on deck 3 mid-ships are good. Avoid deck 3 cabins at the rear where you can get some vibrations from the engine.

Bear in mind though that most of the ship's route is in sheltered sea, between the coast and islands so the sea is usually calm for most of the time. There are some passages in open sea, which can be agitated but usually last only a couple of hours. The longest strech that can be rough is the last day of the Northbound voyage, from Honningsvag to Kirkenes, across the Barents Sea and almost 24 hours of open sea.
