got twins? Posted July 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Hi Folks - Nitty-gritty question for you.... Due to a variety of factors:eek:, a few of us in our group will need to land in a spot on the beach where there are "decent" restrooms available nearby. We are hoping to have a day on the beach with our 15 yr old b/g twins. I think we went to Sand Bar last time, but I can't remember the restroom (if there was one ;-) Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!! SadieN Posted July 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2015 Have never been to a restaurant that didn't have some sort of 'facility'. Check out the bathroom situation before you get seated. If it's not to your liking go to the next one. Just remember to throw your paper into the trash can.
Laurie S. Posted July 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2015 If you're on the beach, there's a huge restroom right in front of you. Where do you think the fish go? ;)
CAnative1 Posted July 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2015 If you're on the beach, there's a huge restroom right in front of you. Where do you think the fish go? ;) There is one situation where that would be just fine and dandy.... However, there are a few where that would just be shocking to other swimmers.

Where do you think the fish go? ;) Laurie, you're another reason that I never use a pool with a swim up bar. OP....most any of the restaurants on Medano Beach will have clean restrooms. As another posted, check out their facilities, if they do not suit you, wander the beach for another 100' and check the next place's rest room. Lots of great restaurants and Cantinas on Medano. got twins? Posted July 24, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted July 24, 2015 Thanks!! And, unfortunately, Laurie, our "needs" are more than the ocean potty can accommodate ;) I wasn't sure if the beachy restaurants would each have their own restroom. Good to know that they should. And, thank you for reminding me about putting the paper in the trash!! I totally forgot about that factor

CWcruisers Posted July 25, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 25, 2015 The Sand Bar was completely rebuilt last year before Hurricane Odile came through and was repaired afterwards so I'm sure the restroom facilities are fine. I personally hang out at Billigans now that my friend, Victor, is the manager there. Very mello, no more party people. The Sand Bar has become a locals favorite now that Tabasco's decided to charge for umbrellas.
