Wine ... Gift Shop /Onboard

I am sailing on the Reflection Dec 2015. I have ordered from the Gift Shop two bottles of Cellar Masters Cabernet to be delivered to my cabin on sailing day. The price was reasonable and have been told I can bring these to dinner without paying a corkage fee. I now think I may want a third bottle of wine, perhaps a different vintage.

Onboard can I purchase a singular bottle of wine at a non-exorbitant price or should I order it now. The wine packages were confusing with no prices shown (or at least what I could find outside the Gift Shop) Thanks !

I just looked at the prices under the Celebrity gifts area and although I won't bet my paycheck on it, the price seems to be comparable to what you would pay on board. You can get a bottle to take to your room at Cellar Masters.

You can also bring on two bottles per stateroom, but you would pay a corkage if you took them to the dining room.

 

I have bought bottles of wine at the bars on board before and taken them to my room to enjoy.

One difference in buying in advance versus on board is there is no gratuity added to pre-bought items.

 

On board, the standard 18% gratuity will be added.

another wine tip....check the bar in the buffet area during lunch. They sometimes have wine specials offering bottles of wine at 1/2-2/3 the price you'd pay in the MDR. They are not the same wines though...you aren't supposed to take them to dinner...but you can enjoy them in the buffet or back in your room.
