Gerko Posted July 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2015 Didn't do the online check in until late and only boarding time left was right before departure. Would like to board earlier. Is Carnival in Sydney strictly enforcing the check in allocations or should we be able to slip through if we get there earlier?
bobhsv Posted July 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2015 I think your chances of an earlier boarding will be good. We boarded last week, with 4 in our party of 10 having a boarding time 2 hrs after the rest of us. We did not have an issue, with all of us boarding just after 1pm. It was reasonably busy at that time. Boarding was quick and easy. Your main checked luggage is collected immediately at the kerb.
Rare gogo65 Posted July 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2015 When I did a carnival cruise in late January this year, we arrived early and were refused boarding until our allocated time, we left and had coffee and returned approx 10minutes prior to our boarding time, again, they would not let us through until they called that time slot. When we got to check in it was very quite with only about 10 people waiting , compared to hundreds of people standing around waiting outside. wagtail_syd Posted July 26, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2015 We had early boarding, arrived on time and they didn't check our boarding times before letting us through so it is definitely worth trying.
