AzJenn Posted July 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Hi everyone, I have never sailed on Carnival and most recently started price watching the 3 and 4 day cruises out of Los Angeles. Just looking for a little get away since I live in Arizona and it's a quick drive to Southern California. I saw this pricing today and my first thought was yeah right..must be a glitch. I tried to book and the prices immediately changed on the second page. I also called and the person I spoke to wasn't very helpful, he just kept asking me where I was getting these numbers. I said I would take screen shots and email it to them however he didn't seem to care. Is this normal for these types of glitches? I am aware of the casino offers that are provided however I have never sailed on Carnival. I have sailed Princess several times but I know it isn't connected. Sorry for the bad quality on the pictures, I took them with my phone!

lizardhowson Posted July 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Book it I believe the threadstarter stated they tried, but the price changed on the booking page. I have had this happen to me before also when I tried to book a very cheap price quote - the price adjusted substantially higher on next screen when I tried to book it. I have read others saying it also happened to them.

I would book all 4 of them if I could LOL
Wilgr Posted July 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2015 On the second screen make sure you put in your VIFP number, they have 3 different offers going now that could actually be that price if you qualify for them.
Taylors Posted July 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2015 I just looked and didn't see those prices. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
Nic6318 Posted July 28, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 28, 2015 the lower priced ones were "special offers" tied to you VIPF number- typically a casino offer you have to make sure the number is attached to the selection...of course it is plus port fees
BOOPOOPADOOP Posted July 28, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2015 The lower prices look like casino rates. Cant book them without a qualifying VIFP number. However, that cruise is always really reasonably priced. Sometimes the person that qualifies may be able to get more than one stateroom at that price. Rod in Az Posted July 28, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) That offer is a Casino Pack and Play Exclusive Offer rate. My DW got that exact offer, I didn't. It actually comes with that great rate, and $100 OBC (non-refundable, but I never have any left anyway). I'm sure that is the rate shown in the first screen capture, because I looked that specific cruise up for those dates, and priced them with my VIFP number, DW's VIFP number, and no VIFP number (because we have friends who wanted to go too). Her VIFP number gets the first screen shot pricing, mine gets one with a different Casino Rate, and then there is the rate that I got with no VIFP number which matches the second screen shot pricing. We couldn't get the time off so we can't go, bummer... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited July 28, 2015 by Rod in Az
