Beverage Package Gratuity

I ordered two packages yesterday for an upcoming cruise and the 15% gratuity was NOT added to my order total or to the total on the confirmation e-mail.

 

Overlooked or is the charge coming at a later time?

Did you order dollar value beverage cards, or the Signature Beverage Package? The latter comes to $51.69 per person per day and includes gratuity. The former is just a dollar amount and does not include gratuity.

Just to clarify, the SBP is $51.69/person/DAY. For a 7 day cruise the total would be $361.83.

we always left a cash tip for the waiter. Usually $1 a drink but sometimes more.

There are times I feel like such an idiot and this is one of them. I never did the math and since the description of the SBP said the gratuity would be added I just figured the price was before the tip. On the plus side, I am an idiot with $109 more dollars than I thought I would have.:)

Don't worry. The beverage card / beverage package has confused quite a few people. Hopefully we've been a help (and if not a help, less of a nuisance.)
