Gravedigger Posted July 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Is it possible to get from Lax to Long Beach terminal if the plane arrives at 11:45 or is a Friday night hotel stay better? If hotel what one?
Nic6318 Posted July 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2015 your question isn't very clear I would rephrase the question to include more details, but more important go to the "North American Homeports/West Coast Departures" threads on this site and you will be able to get specific answers to your question. On those threads you will find people who live in the area and are just looking to help. hope this helps have a great trip

marcimm Posted July 28, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2015 11:45 am arrival at LAX to Port of Long Beach is very doable. Super Shuttle is a good choice. As for an overnight stay, Hotel Maya or the Queen Mary are both good choices for their proximity to the port. Or try the Pacific Inn in Seal Beach for a better rate and have them drive you to port. LilMissScareAll Posted July 28, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Its about 45 minutes from LAX to port of Long Beach under normal traffic. So you would probably be at the port by 1:30ish

If hotel what one? 11:45 am no problem. Just take a Super Shuttle, you'll get to the ship in about 30 min or so depending on traffic. We're going to Disneyland for a couple of days and will take a Super Shuttle from the hotel to the ship. Super Shuttle picks us up at 11:00 am. geezersgirl Posted July 29, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Uber is super easy and cheaper than the shuttles.

The free Long Beach Passport bus is very convenient to use.
vwrestler171 Posted July 29, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Should be no problem, barring any flight delays or traffic problems.
Cruisin' Chick Posted July 29, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Should be no problem, barring any flight delays or traffic problems. And if your flight gets delayed (mechanical problems, weather conditions, a crazed passenger who needs to be taken off at the nearest airport, etc.), then you are risking missing the ship. Whenever flying to your embarkation city, it's always better to do so the day before.

We always fly in the day before, just to be safe (plus we get to start our vacation a day earlier and stress free).
