tigerwilf Posted August 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Hi, has anyone done the Cuban fusion cruise on the Dream? I am looking to book for March and wondering what other people thought of it. Also any info on the ship. We have always cruised large ships. Thanks

geomagot Posted August 5, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 5, 2015 they say that there is a $22 exit tax in jamaica....but no one asked for it here's the relevant extract from my review but, bonus! .. . the Jamaicans didn’t charge the $22 exit viza fee that thoms had taken great steps to warn us all about
csmjfmbe Posted August 5, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 5, 2015 not booked yet do you pay a departure tax You do notary the departure tax in Jamacia if you have been on a cruise only holiday. The departure tax only applies to people who have had a land based holiday on the island. Mike

Turbofun Posted August 5, 2015 #13 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Fwiw, my view is and I shouldn't perhaps say it here, if you want a reasonably good overview of Cuba before it becomes "Americanised", go on a 14 day escorted trip. We did such with Saga last November and, thanks to our guides, learnt much about the place.
