lajlloyd Posted August 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2015 We will be arriving in Bermuda next week and one of our party can only walk short distances. Can anyone recommend a tour, or company, that could provide a tour of the island at a reasonable fee?
njhorseman Posted August 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2015 I suggest you read this thread "Bermuda private guide" http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1198339 , which has recommendations on a number of guides. Since the thread started years ago, I suggest you start at the end and read the last year or two's posts to get only up-to-date information. phillygirl63 Posted August 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2015 We used David Fox and his friend, Sydney Robinson. David was in pretty big demand when we went, but we were fortunate to get him. Since we were 12 people, we needed 2 vehicles, so he set us up with Sydney. You can e-mail David at the fox@logic.bm. If he is not available, I am sure he can set you up with either Sydney or someone else. Go to the thread suggested by Njhorseman. Also, any of the blue flagged taxis can accommodate your friend with mobility issues. When you take the tours with them, there is very little walking unless you request to do so. As for pricing, unless it has changed in the last 2 years, the rates are set by the Bermudian government and are the same with every taxi.
