Raynebaby Posted August 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2015 We've visited St Thomas twice in the past but we can't decide what excursion to do this time. We've done Coral World, underwater submarine and did a catamaran tour previously. We're not opposed to doing a catamaran tour again, we just can't decide which one to take. Do you have a favorite one? We're also debating taking the excursion that take you to St John. Any suggestions, we're on the NCL gem in Nov and would prefer booking with the cruiseline

Any suggestions, we're on the NCL gem in Nov and would prefer booking with the cruiseline I used to live in St. Thomas. I would strongly suggest you go to St John. This is very easy to do on your own with a taxi from Havensight to Red Hook, then ferry. The advantage to this is you can go to a beach that would be less crowded like Hawksnest, Maho, Cinnamon or Salt Pond. Here is a link to the water activities you can do on St John http://www.visitusvi.com/stjohn/water_activities The Kayaking is fun. St John is 68% National Park & the rangers often run programs too. If you want to go through the ship, the Champagne catamaran to Honeymoon beach on St John would be a great choice.
