I did, I guess even though its in your cart its still available for someone to grab it until you actually pay. I have no doubts more will open up, im sure i'll be able to grab one.

arrive with him and they will let them board with you..if his cabin is not ready let him store his carry on in your room

Do they always? We have connecting rooms and it would be great to only buy 1!

No they don't always. It's one pass per cabin. Even if they connect. Lol. The folks in the port don't know that detail. They look at your boarding pass and send you another way if you have fttf. If you have minor children in their own cabin, that would be an exception. Otherwise it's one pass per cabin.
