Inspiration or Imagination?

Hello,

 

I know this topic has been beat to death but I thought I would get a new thread started, but with a poll. For most of these cruises, the prices are exactly the same, and so is the itinerary, except being one day off of each other. It is very confusing when going to choose, especially for someone like me who is trying to make a land/sea trip out west, and needs the cruise dates first but can't differentiate the two.

 

So, which one? Inspiration or Imagination?

 

Make your vote based on interior décor, and overall ship experience. Heck, if it's better to be in Catalina on a Monday and not a Tuesday, pick Imagination. Also, leave any comments you may have! Hopefully, this will help me, and others, pick which ship to try out! :D

I'm going on Imagination just because I've already been on Inspiration. My wife recently returned from a cruise on Imagination and she didn't notice many difference between the ships. She didn't pay attention to the decor though.

Identical itins on identical ships. Very few differences--

Different decor. The Imagination buffet has I-beams with blue circles, the Inspiration has purple worms?tubes?Ursula'sSkirt?

Both have the American Table.

Inspiration has the tablecloths and the ATD is only the outside of the forward MDR. The center of the forward MDR is assigned time dining.

Imagination has the pretty wood tables and the whole forward MDR is ATD.

 

Choose your dates and enjoy.

Does anyone know if either or both have Suess at Sea yet?

I have a great casino offer for a 3/4 day on either of these ships and that would sway my decision.

For interiors I prefer the Inspiration mainly because the lido buffet isn't dark and dreary like that on Imagination. I can see the food displays much better on Inspiration. I've sailed Imagination twice and Inspiration three times.

I am sailing them both in December. Since I am flying in, I decided I wanted an 8 day cruise instead of a 4 day. There will be 1 day between my B2B but that will be fine too.
