travelingman Posted September 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2005 I read the outlets in the bathrooms are not "Standard" outlets. Could someone tell me what kind of outlets are in the bathrooms? Thanks,
elmorejj Posted September 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2005 Don`t know about the Zuiderdam but on all of the other HAL ships I have sailed there is only one power point in the bathroom with a sign that says "for electric shavers only".........jean
Esme Posted September 22, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2005 Jean - I think all the ships are the same. That's what was marked on the outlet on the Westerdam and it's a sister ship to the Zuiderdam. They don't want you using the outlet in the bathroom for anything else but a shaver. bruceh4 Posted September 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2005 I read the outlets in the bathrooms are not "Standard" outlets.Could someone tell me what kind of outlets are in the bathrooms? Thanks, The outlet in the bathroom is a standard 110v outlet and as stated in other posts has a sign which says for shavers only. For obvious reasons HAL would not like you to have anything plugged in which would cauase you to have a "shocking" experience. I have used the outlet to charge camera batteries and toothbrush's. But nothing else. The outlet is located up high and would not support anything heavy plugged into it.
