Hotel ?

We're doing a stopover with Icelandair May 2016. TA has given me 3 hotel choices do Centre Hotel Arnarhvoll, Fosshotel Baron & Best Western Reykjavik. Can anybody give me come feedback on these? Thanks.

I have no information about the hotels but have you checked out trip advisor? They generally have reviews for hotels there.

From memory the centre hotel has a slightly more central location.

nmg is correct. We stayed at the Best Western. It was about 5 minutes walk further away from town, but close to a grocery store and the Phallus Museum.

 

There are dozens of other choices in all budgets.

It would waste less peoples' time if you had entitled your post "Hotel tips for Reyjavik in June 2016", or whenever, having already looked up recommendations on other sites such as TripAdvisor.

 

FWIW, last time we stopped at the Centre Hotel Thingholdt, which is centrally located and very modern.

 

My TripAdvisor review is less than flattering, as the bathroom was very tatty, and the receptionist annoying. But most folk would be very happy there.
