Got my cabin assignment, Sapphire Princess A421, questions...

I booked a Category J Guarantee on the Sapphire Princess and got my cabin assignment yesterday as A421 (3 level upgrade).

 

1. It is right next (looks like we share a wall with the elevator shaft) to the panaramic lifts, what kind of noise can I expect from this (either the lifts or the people in them)?

 

2. We are under the pool area on lido, is there any noise we should expect from this?

 

3. Anyone stay in this cabin or near it before, any comments?

 

Thanks! Not much I can do if this location is noisy as the ship is sold out, but would like to know what to expect so am not surprised.

Have not been in that room, but most posters in rooms next to elevators have said minimal, if any noise from them. Same with being under the pool deck; occasional scraping sounds when putting up/down loungers, but that is it.

 

The good news is you are only one quick flight of stairs away from the pools, a great view and Horizon court if you get hungry. Very convenient location!

cool, thanks! Do you know what the panaromic lifts are compared to normal elevators?

Panoramic Lifts are glass-walled elevators, as opposed to regular boxes in a traditional shaft.
