Change of person

Does anyone know if p&o charge for changing the name of a passenger on a booked cruise? If I'm not clear I mean one person not going now but someone else - or will they just change it without charge?

The admin fee is £20, plus any incurred charges if flights etc are involved. I think it has to be changed at least 14 days before departure.

Would that be for all types of fare? Select, Early Saver and Saver?

Yes I think these are set in stone at time of booking. The only way to change is to cancel and re-book which in reality is not a "change". It's a new booking. This is how they can offer the fares so cheaply hoping people will pay then end up not using the cabin which will be sold to others.

Not according to P & O's help pages. If you search for change of name, it does not show any restrictions, just shows the £20 plus expenses. However, goes on to state you can not "transfer" an entire booking, of the saver type fares.

 

I don't have any personal experience just going by what it says on their page.
