susanpayne Posted August 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Looking for a romantic place to have dinner while docked in Curaçao. Would love for it to be on the water but doesn't really have to be. Also I read most shops close around 6, is this the case when there is a ship in port late? Would love to take a tour or do the beach for a few hours after docking at 2 but we really wanted to save this port to do most of our shopping in? Any thoughts are appreciated
macaroni Posted August 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2015 There are plenty of restaurants right in town where you dock that are on the water...when you are ready for dinner just walk around (in a restaurant row kind of place) and pick one...I think the shops do close around 6 most of the time...hopefully someone who was in port late can respond...I would probably shop...it is such a nice town, with the pontoon bridge and waterfront area.. bup1224 Posted September 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Bistro Le Cholard is fabulous - right in the Rif Fort area - expensive though.
cruiseapril Posted October 26, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2015 When are you going or have you been? The Avila Hotel is a very nice place for lunch or dinner. See the website.
bup1224 Posted November 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2015 We just found Scampi in the Arches - Punda Area - across the pontoon bridge during our week long vacay in September - fabulous food and right on the water!
