Infinity room 7002

We are sailing on the Christmas 2004 Infinity Panama canal cruise. We are staying in room 7002 (outside front corner) - the cabin looks much larger than the others. Has anyone stayed in this room or know what it is like?

Thanks!

There was a thread about this a while ago - I have taken the liberty of cutting and pasting one of the responses (hope that isn't a tacky thing to do!)

"We checked out 7002 and 7003 on the Millie when we were on her in August...because we originally booked 7003 for the Summit before switching later to the Sky Suites for that cruise...

I believe both of those corner cabins are larger than the two inside...

As far as amenities go, they are the same as any other outside cabin on the ship...

The difference--and it's a big difference--is that they are CONSIDERABLY larger...there is quite a bit of open floor space...so you won't have to trip over the bed and chair and maneuver your way around your spouse when getting dressed...and the feeling is one of lots of room...

One disappointment is that there is still only the one window...and it's a round one facing the front of the ship...So, you don't have any kind of panoramic view like you would with a sliding glass door in a balcony cabin...

All in all, I'd take it any time over any other outside window cabin on the ship...

Of course, the Sky Suites we're getting instead are better...but also twice the price for roughly the same size cabin..."

Hope that helps a little - You can always do a search using the room # as well. Cheers, Jayna K
