Curious about cheese

Posters have either bought or want to buy cheese in Martinique. It wonders me....what is so special about the cheese in Martinique?

French imports are sold at the big supermarket to the left of cruise dock about 2 streets into town. You have a very nice selection of Camemberts (unpasturized) that have flavor and other cheeses and pates. Great in the room w/ drinks and especially if you have a fride in the room. They also sell french bread and crackers, mixers, etc. Prices were very reasonable.

I wasn't thinking about the French connection.

I'll have to do a little shopping....god knows there is never enough to eat on a ship :D
