hellokitty4me Posted August 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2015 Through 8/31, Carnival is offering a "Early Saver Last Call Past Guest Bonus" rate with 1/2 off deposits and obc. I am anticipating a casino reduced rate offer. If I book with the ES rate and later get the casino offer, can I get the price drop? TIA

ladyd11933 Posted August 28, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Yes you can but when you match you will have to pay the rest of your deposit when you do the match. I just did this same thing a couple of months ago.
Davey Wavey Posted August 28, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Yes you can change ES to a casino rate code even if you are less than 90 days from sail date. If the casino rate doesn't include a reduced deposit, you will have 24 hours to pay the higher deposit or your booking will be canceled.
angiem0217 Posted August 28, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2015 I had read on another thread that once you book, they are less likely to send you a casino rate. That is why I have been holding off. I had a casino rate last month but was not sure if we could go. Now I am ready to book but no casino offer. I am afraid to book early saver if they are less likely to send me a casino offer. Nope, we had a B2B booked and got a Premier offer for the prior week. We just dropped the 2nd week and picked up the Premier offer.

On one of our B2B cruises for 2015 which we had booked a year in advance while on 2014 cruises, we received a Casino Offer a few weeks after final payment & were able to match to it. tawaik Posted August 28, 2015 #10 Share Posted August 28, 2015 I'm presently book on for an Oct. 26 sailing with the casino rate. I asked if there was a price drop would I be entitled to it. CS said no since I did not book early saver.
vwrestler171 Posted August 29, 2015 #11 Share Posted August 29, 2015 You book ES and then price match to the casino rate.
retiredgram Posted August 29, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 29, 2015 As mentioned above ^^^ We booked ES and a couple days later their was a casino rate. We then price matched for the casino rate. There was no problem with the price matching. We are still ES, but have a casino rate for now.
