Assuming you are asking about Port Canaveral, you will be directed to the pick-up area by the guides as you leave the terminal. At terminal 1, all the pick-up areas are covered. The wait depends on how many other ships are in port. We've waited between 10 and 30 minutes at times.

Yes, Port Canaveral.

 

Not dropping a car off prior to cruise, so no heads up before. Also coming of the ship to a new terminal also, never been in the new one.
