Rare Jamman54 Posted September 22, 2015 Author #404 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Day 6 – San Juan 7am to 2pm….. We woke up at 7am to find that the Carnival Breeze was already docked in San Juan. We got dressed and went out on our “secret” deck to take in the sights. Looking down on the gangway, we could see that some early birds were already leaving the ship….. Take in the sights of Old San Juan with us, from our vantage point on our “secret” deck……. To be continued……
Rare Jamman54 Posted September 22, 2015 Author #405 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Here are some more views of Old San Juan….. Here are our plans for today. Because we are only here until 2pm, Ryan and I decided to just stay on the ship. Patti, after gathering four bags of laundry to send out to be washed, will leave the ship, and walk around Old San Juan and take pictures. Ryan chose to sleep in, but I made my way up to the Blue Iguana Cantina for a breakfast burrito. Afterwards, I would go check emails, then go visit Theodoro at the Tides Bar and have a “few” Coronas. Here is Patti as she leaves the ship for her walk around Old San Juan….. To be continued…..
Rare Jamman54 Posted September 22, 2015 Author #406 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Patti begins her walk. Here are a couple views of Senor Frog’s which was right across the street from the pier….. I was in a mood for a Guy’s burger. After lunch, we all met up on our “secret” deck for sail away. Here are some views of the waterfront area near the ship….. Bellabananas Posted September 23, 2015 #417 Share Posted September 23, 2015 Did Patti walk to the fort? I'm thinking that might be what we do when we stop there.
js Posted September 23, 2015 #418 Share Posted September 23, 2015 Sailing the Breeze on January 28 with my mom and dd-22. LOVE your review and after reading every night just caught up. Thank you so mich for taking the time to post and add pictures. Were you on the 8 night? If so, what days would you suggest my making reservations for the Italian and Steak House reataurants? I have the Marriott booked but loved your room at the HI. We stayed there years ago andnusually stay at Intercontinental but wanted to try something different. I would stay at HI if I could get your room lol. Did you request floor 9 corner room or were you just assigned it at check in? Thanks so much! Though Patti didn't walk all the way to San Cristobal, it is very walkable. You can also walk to El Morro, but that is a bit further of a walk. Sailing the Breeze on January 28 with my mom and dd-22. 2paradise Posted September 23, 2015 #421 Share Posted September 23, 2015 Jamman54, your reviews are wonderful! They are the best things about CC in my opinion. :) Have you done a review of the Sunshine? If so, where can I find it? Regarding San Juan, where is the visitor's center in relation to the pier? I will try to find it in the great photos that you posted. And which direction do we walk to get to the Fort? Thanks again!

The ministry of tourism and El Morro are to the left after you exit the pier. The Castillo San Cristobal is straight up the hill.
