Where will we clear customs?

We are on the Star, doing a California Coastal, in October. To help with the planning of excursions (I'm trying to talk my husband into Disneyland!!), I'm trying to confirm that we will clear US customs when we board in Vancouver - meaning when we dock in San Pedro (our first port), we can get off the ship without having to go through customs again. Can anyone confirm?

 

I know if we stopped at Victoria, before heading to the US, we would clear customs at the first US port, but since this isn't the case on this itinerary...

Since you won't be stopping in Victoria before leaving Canadian waters, you will clear customs in Vancouver and then it is smooth sailing when you reach San Pedro.
