Normally, boarding starts between 11am and 11:30am.

Thanks!! that would be awesome. It will give us plenty of time to get acquainted with the ship before dinner..

I guess that means the cabins will be ready? In the past I used to take a change of clothes in a carry on since the luggage take a while to show up.. same drill?

Staterooms are normally ready at 1 or 1:30pm.

We will be getting off the ship after crossing the Atlantic. Since even the crew has to go through customs, I would be surprised if they started boarding by 11am. I would be even more surprised if the rooms are ready before 1:30pm. Remember, the people getting the staterooms ready are busy going through customs. We did the TA last year on Celebrity Equinox and there were only two custom agents doing the crew.

I agree, this will not by a typical turnaround for the ship because it is coming over on the transatlantic itinerary. That's why the sailing won't happen until 8pm, rather than 5pm. We usually arrive at 10 and board around 11, but that probably won't happen on this particular cruise. We will get to the port sometime after 12 and hope to board around 1. Looking forward to our 1st experience on Allure, even if only a quick 2-nighter :)
