noise upper promanade deck

I am looking at partially obstructed cabins on the westerdam..4088 or 4087.

They are not directly above the ocean bar but I was wondering if a significant amount of noise travels up the stairs and down the corridors.

I don't know about the W'dam, but in E'dam 4094 we had significant noise (music) coming up the stairs every night until around 11:00. I would not choose that location again. W'dam 4087/4088 are possibly far enough away from the stairs that the volume would be less.

Both Cabins are above the Shopping Arcade.

The band plays in the back corner on the port side of the Ocean Bar.

You may hear some music when they play loudly. The new group called "The Band" isn't as loud as the HAL Cats were.

Irrelevant. The sound comes mainly up the stairs, not through the floor.
