The app is free and will allow you to check out your onboard account as well as things like making reservations and viewing menus etc. You can also use it to text/call other users of the app for $7.95 per device. How does this app work, what is the cost? http://www.ncl.com/downloads/iconcierge App is free to download and to use when onboard (make sure you have data roaming switched off if you are international to avoid carrier charges) and logged onto the free WIFI network. Rare mking8288 Posted November 20, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 20, 2015 The latest version on Android MM 6.x is 3.0.20 (size is 23 MB) - those previously installed with auto-update will get this. For iPhones - 3.0.27 was released on Oct. 17, 2015 and running on mine running iOS 9.1 (size - 31 MB) Go to your device's official store for easy download while at home/before leaving for the cruise and if previously installed, check for the newest one first - there's been 3 or 4 updates since installing ours this March. One of our nephew was on the Breakway 2 weeks ago & used the "free" features to keep track of their onboard account, works fine - once "activated" on the ship's exclusive inTRAnet (and, while waiting during embarkation in the pier/terminal if the signal is strong enough.) On newer ships with updated interactive TV system in the staterooms, many of the features (if not all) are available on the screen using the TV remote to scroll.
