(ov) oceanview stateroom - guarantee?? Imagination

I'm not sure what this means. When we booked with our TA Carnival offered to upgrade us from an inside stateroom to an Oceanview for very cheap. this meant that we don't get to pick our cabin, actually kind of fun.

 

Looking between our invoice and a deck plans website the only thing with (ov) says it's a guarantee room. what does this mean?

Means Carnival chooses your cabin. You might not know until you get to Long Beach which cabin you have.
