Hi! Can any one tell me what happened with your luggage on a med fly cruise? I have read that you check it in at gatwick and don't see it until your cabin?

This sounds great however I'm worried about my buggy - if it's checked in from the airline door will I be able to get it at the other end or will they take it strait to the boat?

Just returned from Oceana. Flew from Birmingham with Thomsons and the luggage was checked in then not seen again until the cabin. This is because everyone on the flight were for the cruise. Most people we spoke to had baggage checked straight through, but a couple of people flew BA and had to collect their bags. I would imagine you would have access to a buggy or wheelchair.

If your flight is a charter and everyone is going on the ship there is no baggage claim at Genoa/Venice and the luggage goes straight to the ship.:) If you are on a scheduled flight or not everyone is going to the ship you have to hang about at the carousel as normal :(
