Hilton FLL Beach-Cost from Airport/to Port?

Hello:

 

Not seeing a whole lot of info on this property here. We are booked for January and just wondered if you have current opinions as well as cost from airport and cost to port? Are there drug stores nearby for whatever? Also, mid-range restaurants within walking distance? Has anyone been recently? Thanks for your comments.

Shopping and Dining should not be a problem taxi will probably run about $25 each way

We stayed at the W Hotel which is right next door. Nice location. Walking distance to Beach Place where there is a CVS drug store. Also walking distance to Sunrise Blvd and across bridge to Galleria Mall. Directly across street from beach. Casablanca is a nice and popular restaurant. From the hotel turn right and it is a very short walk.
