Maybe you could email them and ask. It is a restaurant and they seem to make their money with that and their loungers. You might look out of place if you set up shop in front of someone who has paid to have the beach view from their lounger (they are all in a long row).Maybe just rent one lounger and put the kids in front of your space.

It's a public beach.

I would suggest not being concerned with "looking out of place" or being "frowned upon" for "setting up shop in front" and potentially disturbing the view of someone that has "paid for a lounger".

A rented lounger is just that and only that...

Of course, the consideration of others' immediate surrounding space is respectful, you will be just fine in bringing your own beach blanket and putting it wherever you choose from the available area on the beach.

When we were going there all of the loungers etc were gone by 10:00am. Others just sat on towels with no issue. There is a long beach, Carambola is at one end, shipwreck the other with lots of open sand in between if you want a little extra space.

If you have little ones I would be most concerned with shade. Except for umbrellas there is none on the beach near Carmabola. Get/ bring a simple pop up sun space and you can go anywhere.
