andynapril Posted September 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2015 What sort of unique souvenirs should I be on the look out for St. Kitts? Something unique to the island.
CntPAcruiser Posted September 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2015 If you take an island tour, most will go to the batik "factory" and Brimstone Fortress. They sell many different batik items at the former, though many of the less expensive ones didn't seem to have been actually made on site. At Brimstone Fortress, they have a gift shop selling logo items, such as t-shirts and polo shirts, among other things. The polo shirts had an embroidered logo and look very nice, and it supports the park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

wrcjr98 Posted September 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2015 We bought some beautiful fabric panels at Caribelle Batik. They have a demonstration showing how they make the designs on the fabric, and they offer many sizes/prices to choose from. They also had purses, cosmetic bags, dresses, shirts, beach towels and lots of items made of batik. We were on Thenford Grey's tour, and this was at the stop with Romney Manor. We were given plenty time to look around, shop, take pictures, etc.
